This document outlines the policies and procedures for All In Moving to ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe moving experience for our customers. These policies are designed to protect both the customer and the company and to set clear expectations for all parties involved.
Booking and Scheduling
To book a move with All In Moving, please contact us by phone or through our website to request a quote. Once you have accepted the quote, we will schedule your move and provide you with a confirmation email. We require a 72-hour confirmation call before your move to finalize the details.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a successful move, we ask that our customers adhere to the following guidelines:
• Be present at the pickup and delivery locations to direct our movers.
• Ensure that all items are packed and ready to be moved at the scheduled time.
• Inform us of any special requirements or fragile items at the time of booking.
• Arrange for parking and any necessary permits for the moving truck.
Company Responsibilities
All In Moving is committed to providing a professional and reliable moving service. Our responsibilities include:
• Arriving at the scheduled time with a clean and fully equipped moving truck.
• Providing a trained and professional moving crew.
• Handling your belongings with care and respect.
• Communicating with you throughout the moving process.
Payment Policies
All In Moving is committed to providing transparent and fair payment policies. This section outlines our procedures for estimates, deposits, and final payments to ensure a clear understanding between the company and our valued customers.
Estimates
We offer two types of estimates to suit your needs:
• Non-Binding Estimate: This estimate provides a general idea of the cost of your move based on the information you provide. The final cost may be higher or lower than the estimate, but it will be based on the actual services provided and our published tariff rates. We do not charge for non-binding estimates.
• Binding Estimate: For a fixed price, we offer a binding estimate that guarantees the total cost of your move, provided that the inventory and services do not change. A fee may be associated with providing a binding estimate.
Deposit
To secure your moving date and our services, we require a deposit. The deposit amount will be a percentage of the estimated total cost of your move. For interstate moves, a 10% deposit is required. This deposit will be applied to your final bill.
Final Payment
Final payment is due upon completion of your move. We accept the following forms of payment:
• Cash
• Certified Check
• Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
We do not accept personal checks for final payment. For credit card payments, the name on the card must match the name of the customer on the bill of lading.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. This section outlines our policies for canceling or rescheduling your move to provide flexibility while also protecting our schedule and resources.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your move, please provide us with written notice as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees apply:
• More than 72 hours notice: If you cancel your move with more than 72 hours' notice before the scheduled move date, your deposit will be fully refunded.
• Within 72 hours notice: If you cancel your move within 72 hours of the scheduled move date, a cancellation fee will be applied. This fee will be a percentage of the deposit, as outlined in your moving agreement.
Rescheduling Policy
If you need to reschedule your move, please contact us at least 72 hours before your original move date. We will work with you to find a new date and time that is convenient for you. If you reschedule within 72 hours of your original move date, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Liability and Insurance
All In Moving is committed to the safe handling of your belongings. This section explains our liability for your goods and the different valuation and insurance options available to you.
Valuation Options
We offer two levels of liability (valuation) for your belongings:
• Released Value Protection: This is the most basic liability level and is provided at no additional cost. Under this option, the mover’s liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article. This means that if a 100-pound item is damaged, the maximum compensation you will receive is $60, regardless of the item's actual value.
• Full Value Protection: Under this option, if any of your articles are lost, destroyed, or damaged during your move, we will either:
1.1 Repair the item to the extent necessary to restore it to the same condition as when it was received by us.
1.2 Replace the item with an article of like kind and quality.
1.3 Pay you for the cost of such a replacement.
The exact cost for Full Value Protection will vary depending on the total value of your shipment. Please ask your move coordinator for more details.
Certificate of Insurance (COI)
Many buildings require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from moving companies to cover any potential damage to the building during the move. Please check with your building management to see if a COI is required. If so, please let us know at least 48 hours before your move so we can provide the necessary documentation.
Claims and Disputes
All In Moving is dedicated to providing a seamless moving experience, but we understand that issues can occasionally arise. This section outlines our procedures for filing claims and resolving disputes in a fair and timely manner.
Filing a Claim
If any of your belongings are lost or damaged during your move, you must file a claim with our claims department. To be considered, all claims must be submitted in writing within 90 days of the delivery date. Please include the following information in your claim:
• Your name and contact information
• The date of your move
• A detailed description of the lost or damaged item(s)
• Photographs of the damaged item(s)
• A copy of your bill of lading
Our claims department will review your claim and contact you within 15 business days to discuss the next steps. Please note that full payment for your move must be received before any claim can be processed.
Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your claim, we offer an arbitration program through a neutral third-party organization. This program is designed to provide an impartial and cost-effective way to resolve disputes. For more information about our arbitration program, please contact your move coordinator.

Antiques and High-Value Items
We understand that antiques and other high-value items require special care. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any items that you consider to be of high value. We may recommend additional packing or crating to ensure their safe transport. We are not liable for items of extraordinary value that are not disclosed to us prior to the move.
Oversized and Heavy Items
Our team is trained to handle oversized and heavy items, such as safes and large appliances. However, we reserve the right to refuse to move any item that we believe cannot be moved safely. Please provide us with accurate information about any oversized or heavy items at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements.
